Cleaning is an essential task if the machine operates for an extended period of time. The method and quality of cleaning have a significant impact on various factors such as accuracy, maintenance quality, maintenance cost, and service life of machine parts. To perform effective cleaning, the use of a brush is indispensable. The cleaning process involves the elimination of oil stains, scales, carbon deposits, rust layers, and old paint layers. It is crucial to employ different cleaning methods and select appropriate equipment, tools, processes, and cleaning agents based on factors such as the material, precision, dirt properties of the machine parts, and the specific cleaning requirements of each process. This approach ensures that a desirable cleaning effect is achieved.
The initial step in the disassembly process is to conduct cleaning before disassembly, primarily focusing on the external components. The primary objective of external cleaning is to eliminate the accumulation of dust, oil, mud, sand, and other forms of dirt on the mechanical equipment's outer surface. This cleaning process aims to facilitate the subsequent disassembly procedure while also preventing the introduction of dust, oil sludge, and other types of dirt into the plant environment.
When it comes to cleaning, tap water is commonly used for external cleaning purposes. To get rid of oil stains, tap water is connected to a hose and is used to wash off the dirt with the help of scrapers and brushes. For a more powerful cleaning, high-pressure water scouring is used, typically ranging from 1-10mpa. This involves using high-pressure water flow under pressure to effectively clean surfaces. For extra stubborn and thick dirt that's hard to be rid of, chemical cleaning agents can be added in certain amounts, while the injection pressure and water temperature can be increased accordingly for best results.
External cleaning equipment commonly used includes single gun time flow cleaning machines and multi nozzle jet cleaning machines. The single gun time flow cleaning machine effectively removes dirt using high-pressure continuous jets or steam water jets, along with the use of cleaning agents. On the other hand, multi nozzle jet cleaning machines come in two types, namely the door frame mobile type and the tunnel fixed type. The installation position and number of nozzles can be adjusted based on the specific cleaning requirements.
